Paulette Leaphart Completes Her 1000 Mile Walk

Paulette Leaphart is now one of my heroes, she is a breast cancer survivor that underwent a double mastectomy to the monster, we call cancer. She decided, that she was not going to let cancer win, and started a 1000 mile to journery from Mississippi to Washington to bring awareness, and a call to action to improve the healthcare system for cancer patients and survivors.
As a cervcal cancer survivor, I immediately was drown to her courage and determination to bring awareness and fight to this disease. Paulette completed her 1000 mile walk on her 50th birthday in Washington.
